A short detour taken from Route One will lead you to this hidden gem, perched on the banks of the Cape Neddick River.  "The Pound", as we are known locally, specializes in Maine Lobster and Seafood, but also offers a varied menu to please many tastes.  Whether seated in one of the main dining rooms, built in the Post and Beam tradition, the hand-crafted bar filled with an eclectic mix of memorabilia, or outside on one of the decks, you will enjoy fabulous views of the working harbor and tidal river.

These views also lend themselves to a picturesque backdrop for your special occasion. Our upstairs dining area is available for smaller occasions, and the lower dining area with band stand and dance floor is perfect for wedding receptions.
